Monday Motivation: Excellence is a Habit

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit."

-Aristotle

Greek critic, philosopher, physicist, & zoologist (384 BC - 322 BC)

Excellence is a habit.  As professionals, we want to be in the habit of championing excellence and high-performance.

Looking for ways to improve your workplace performance? Here’s a few of my favorite leadership and professional development books:

  • Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey
Repeatedly ranked as one of the most influential books in business and management, this read discusses how to be effective in attaining ones goals.
  • Good to Great, Jim Collins
How does a company go from good to great? Jim Collin's book reports on a conducted study that researched thousands of companies and examined what took companies from good to great.
  • How to Win Friends and Influence People, Dale Carnegie
With millions of copies sold, How to Win Friends and Influence People provides proven methods for effectively communicating in every setting.
